Motivate Your Team by Volunteering Together

        Looking for a great way to build camaraderie and trust among your team?  Look into volunteering.  Check out different programs around your community or various non-profit organizations that your company could get involved with.  Volunteering is a great opportunity for your employees to build relationships with other employees they may not normally interact with.

        Back in May Positive Promotions participated in the “Relay For Life®” with ACS in Bay Shore, NY.  At the event, the Positive team camped out overnight and took turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness for the cause.  The event gave employees at Positive a chance to get to know each other outside the company walls.  Everyone had an opportunity to engage with each other and get to know one another a lot better.  Before the event there were office raffles, contests, and bake sales held to raise funds for “Relay For Life®”; giving all employees a chance to really get involved.

        Volunteering will not only contribute to your employees building camaraderie, it offers proof to employees that your company cares; and it’s not only about making a profit.  Employees appreciate a company that cares and will be more motivated and excited to work for a company that they respect.
